I have been in the CBG community for about 15 years... focusing on Tennis Racket Guitars since 2018.
I got started when my Dad built a cigar box guitar (3 string fretless) and sent it to me. I had never done any wood working before. I didn't even owned any power tools outside of a hand drill and an electric chainsaw...
But I was intrigued by the simplicity of the build. So, I went on Craigslist and bought a drill press, scroll saw, and a mouse and belt sander. The rest is history! I now work out of a small shop in my garage, building in small batches, usually made to order.
